Amada Fiber Laser Operator

Responsibilities
•Operate a 2023 Amada 3kw 5x10 flat sheet fiber laser
•Perform laser cutting operations according to production schedules
•Work with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials up to .375"
•Load materials manually using overhead crane and vacuum frame systems
•Collaborate with programming team to optimize nests and production efficiency
•Perform daily calibrations and routine machine maintenance
•Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and assist with keeping equipment operational
•Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
•3+ years of laser cutting experience in a production manufacturing environment
•Experience operating Amada lasers or other top-brand laser cutting equipment preferred
•Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
•Ability to read and follow production specifications
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Stable and documented work history in manufacturing or fabrication
•Ability to work independently and within a team environment
