This is a hand-built “Buscuit” resonator guitar in excellent condition.
Republic instruments of Texas are not mass-produced, so they can be hard to come by, but the list of name artists that have played them include Johnny Winter, Bonnie Raitt, David Lindley, Rickey Scaggs, Timothy B. Schmidt, Joe Walsh, Albert Lee & Jackson Browne
this is a SUPER RARE example in Natural Gloss, Bookmatched Flame Maple finish. Playability and sound match the quality of the look. No electronicss but Includes original fitted “soft” case. Does have a few surface scuffs on back of guitar that only show in certain light. No way to photograph them. NOT “buckle rash” by any stretch.
The “Miniolian” models are parlor-sized and these models usually had white binding. This one has the unique and rare “mother of pearl” binding. You have to see the depth of the wood flaming to believe it!
