This is basically the ultimate Les Paul. It was made in 2003 and you can see how much it was back then. This one was special ordered and has a Brazillian rosewood fretboard. It is equipped with Sperzel locking tuners, and it comes with its original "british racing green" hardcase. This example has abalone inlays, faux/"scraped" binding, and a three-dimensional GLOWING figured top. The top is of course a thick flamed maple and the body is mahogany. The neck carve is beefy and rounded as you would expect on your fifties style les pauls. These also have a 25.5" scale length like a strat, so you get the best of both a les paul and a strat in terms of tone and feel. The pickup switch is 5 way: from all the way up to all the way down the positions are as follows:
neck humbucker
neck single coil
neck and bridge humbuckers
neck single coil and bridge single coil
bridge humbucker

Lastly, the guitar is 100% original and has had no mods or repairs. There are a few dings (notably one on the back of the headstock) and a couple of others that I can photograph more closely for you if you are interested.

I would trade this for other high end guitars. All guitars at least in the ballpark of this price will be considered. If you have something really cool I won't be a stickler on the "value" of the guitar. I recognize that this is not a well-known brand, but many famous people have played these, including Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton.
