This is a great playing 2013 Made in Mexico Fender Precision Bass. The neck has a great feel to it, semi gloss finish and great playability up and down the neck. The truss rod was just adjusted and the fretboard oiled. The grain on the fretboard as well as the body is nice. The stock pickguard was changed to Tortoise Shell and a Thumbrest was installed to give it that 1960s Vibe. The stock pickups were changed to Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Pickups and the body cavity and rear of the pickguard was copper shielded. I do not have the original parts. It currently is wearing some neon strings but previously had flats on it so the the frets are in great shape with barely any wear to them. The neck has a few small dings around the headstock if you look hard for them, but the rear of the neck is very clean. The body also has some dings and scratches, lots of small ones on the back but no chips, cracks or missing finish. I also noticed the plastic pickup cover has some wear around the height adjustment screws. Overall a nice P bass, truly needs nothing except a new home and maybe your preferred strings. Best of all it's very light! see photos for its weight on my accurate postal scale. Includes a nice Roadrunner Gig Bag and Wide Lekato Strap.
I am located in Prescott, the weather is beautiful up here- take a day trip and get a new bass.
