Beautiful Buescher Aristocrat 140 alto saxophone, built in 1950. One of the best Buescher professional grade horns made, this one is all original except for the D# pad. All the snap-in resonators are in place, as are the gold screw-in springs. This horn plays great, top to bottom. These horns have that awesome big-band power and tone that Bueschers of this era are famous for.

The original Buescher factory mouthpiece is included - as is typical for these mouthpieces, this one has a crack and a reinforcing ring to make it nearly perfect again. This mouthpiece plays great, having been refaced to a tip opening of .064".

Also included is the original case in very good condition; the neck strap, music holder, ligature and cap appear to be original as well and are included.
