MID-ENTRY LEVEL OFFICE / ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Overview:
We are looking for a “Can-Do” Office Assistant to join our office team. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to help with any project. Ideal candidate would have some bookkeeping experience and be looking for a long-term position, be reliable and be willing to learn.
JOB DISCRIPTION:
File preliminary notices for each job as needed.
Keep job files up to date for Project Manager and Office Manager.
Order Insurance certificates as needed.
Knowing the importance of job costing and accurate job cost data entry.
Assist Office Manager with various accounting, project and office tasks.
Have knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping and be willing to learn.
Accounts payable and receivable experience a plus.
Ability to define potential issues, gather data, establish facts, come up with a solution and execute a plan as needed.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle pressure to get the job done in a timely manner.
Must be detail oriented to make sure the job is being done correctly the first time.
Excellent follow-up skills.
Reception Desk – Answer phones, greet guests and filing.
10 key and typing experience needed.

PAY RANGE: $23.00 TO $26.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
OFFICE HOURS: 7AM to 3:30PM Monday - Friday
