We're a busy transmission shop on Bell Rd looking for the person who keeps the office running while the guys fix cars. If you're the organized one, the person who always knows where the paperwork is, who actually follows up when they say they will, this is your kind of job.
WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE:
Keep track of customers who called for quotes and make sure nobody gets forgotten, our system tells you who's due, you keep it moving
Send texts and reminders, confirm appointments, hand the boss his call list in the morning
Pay the shop's bills and stay on top of vendor credits and returns
Order transmission parts and track deliveries (we'll teach you the parts side)
Check customers out at the counter and keep their paperwork straight
Back up the phones when the manager is tied up
WHO WE'RE HOPING TO FIND:
Someone organized and reliable, that's honestly 90% of it
Bilingual English/Spanish is a big plus for us
Office, front desk, dispatch, bookkeeping, or parts counter background all fit great
Don't need to know anything about cars, we'll teach you the shop stuff
Comfortable with texting customers and basic spreadsheets
Not a sales job, but if you're bilingual and ever want to grow into talking with customers, there's room for that down the road.
