Selling a lightly used flash unit for the Nikon AF system: the Sigma EF-430
The automatic TTL light control system puts bounce, diffusion and daylight sync techniques right at your fingertips. In other words, the freedom to worry more about the subject … and less about the light. It instantly recognizes film speed and other settings right from the camera. Select the aperture you want with your camera set for aperture priority auto or manual and start shooting. With any of these advanced techniques, the TTL system delivers the light you need automatically
Features
Auto zoom function with variable angle of illumination
The flash zoom head automatically sets itself to match lens focal length ranging from 28-80mm. For photography with an 18mm lens, it comes with a wide panel attachment. Its flash head tilts to easily create bounce lighting effects.
Focal plane firing for high-speed shutter
The EF430 Super surpasses conventional flash units in many other cameras by continuously firing from the time the shutter opens until the shutter closes. This allows shooting with a higher shutter speed than conventional synchronized speeds.
Wireless flash and slave function
It also features off-camera cordless operation with TTL exposure control to enable easier and more creative lighting. Specified slave firing uses the camera mounted EF430 Super for control and the other EF430 Super flashes as main light sources, while normal slave firing fires the built-in flash and other flashes synchronously.
Multipath strobo effect firing for continuous photography
The firing interval can be adjusted to within a range of 0.1 to 1 second in five steps. In the sports mode, the firing interval is 0.02 seconds and the firing frequency is about 18 times.
Second curtain synchronization to capture natural movement
In this mode, the flash fires just before the shutter closes so the motion stays behind the subject and makes the photograph seem more realistic.
Again, this flash is designed originally for the Nikon AF cameras - basically the 35mm film cameras that were auto focus. The flash can be used in non-TTL mode with most digital Nikon cameras
Flash is working fine. Comes with original case & instruction manual
