This is a true mid-1960s high-nickel block, known for its stronger cylinder walls, better wear resistance, and superior long-term reliability. Built specifically for a dependable everyday street rod with fast throttle response and high-compression punch.
This is NOT a junkyard throw-together — it's a real rebuild. The bottom end still has the fresh assembly grease/lube on the caps and bolts from when it was torqued. Nothing is covered up or rattle-canned to look pretty. What you see is a genuine fresh build.
The engine is topped with 416 casting heads (14014416) fully rebuilt by PBS Machine Shop in Phoenix and equipped with fresh roller rockers (zero miles).
These heads feature 58cc chambers, putting this 327 right around 10.5:1 to 11:1 compression, depending on gasket thickness — the sweet spot for pump-gas high-performance street builds.
