For sale is a rare vintage 1949 Oneida Products Corp. Safety School Bus. This is a classic rounded-top school bus with a 40-passenger body built in Canastota, New York. Body tag reads: Model 14002R, Body Serial 7-5-49 1-3752.
The bus is currently set up as a camper / skoolie project. Inside you'll find:
Partial camper conversion with kitchen area including sink, countertop, stove, and cabinetry
Wood paneling and shelving already installed in places
Driver's compartment intact with steering wheel and gauges
Some flooring and insulation work started
Lots of potential for a full tiny home / adventure rig / mobile workshop
Exterior: Classic rounded Oneida body, currently in patina/rusty condition. Some windows are intact, others are cracked or missing. Solid frame and body structure for its age.
This is a project vehicle — it does not currently run or drive. It would be perfect for someone looking to finish the skoolie conversion, use it for parts, or restore it as a vintage showpiece. Great bones and unique styling.
