About 40 years old and in usable condition.
Kept in garage or attic and has not been used in 30 years.
Overall construction is solid. No loose or broken parts. All nails, bolts, and rivets are holding firmly.
Surface rust and chipped paint on all the metal parts and fasteners.
No visible damage to the metal or wood parts that would affect function.
No bends or cracks in the metal.
Wood has no rot, holes, or breaks. Wood has stains and discoloration all over. It appears the finish has come off the wood in a few places.
I'm not a collector and I'm not selling this as a collector's item.
Cosmetic issues mentioned do not affect function.
No pull rope. (Any rope can be attached through the holes in the steering bar.) I've seen single dog harnesses attached to these sleds too. Looks like a lot of fun for the kids and the dog.
Holds one child with or without the seat back and cradle bars.
Four straps hold the seat back and cradle bars on. Slide the seat back and cradle bars on the rails to fit your child. Detach the four straps and remove these completely for older children to ride the sled.
Estimate that children ages 1 - 12 could use this, however, use your best discretion if this is appropriate for your child.
