The Capstan Rope Winch is designed for pulling with rope. The rotating capstan is the pulling power. Your pull is limited only by the length of your rope. Your hand merely takes up the slack in the rope. Use with 3/8 polyester rope, 2,900 lb tensile strength. I bought it for hunting Elk in Washington state. We then moved to Arizona and I don’t hunt here. The winch is new and I never used it.
