This set is designed for a special artistic shooting, when it is necessary to optically adjust the softness of the image from noticeably soft and plastic to naturally sharp and contrasty. These types of shootings include nostalgic landscapes, portraits and specific subjects. Soft lens photography, also known as soft focus photography, is a technique that intentionally blurs or diffuses an image to create a dreamy, ethereal, or romantic effect. It's achieved by reducing the contrast of fine details and smoothing out edges, often resulting in a soft, glowing highlight effect. This technique can be used to evoke certain moods, such as nostalgia, romance, or mystery, and can be particularly effective for portraiture or certain types of scenes.
*For Portraits:
Soft focus can be flattering for portraits, softening skin details and creating a dreamy aesthetic.
*For Specific subjects:
It can be effective for subjects like flowers, landscapes, or any scene where a soft, romantic, or ethereal mood is desired.
*Creative expression:
Soft focus can be a stylistic choice for photographers looking to create unique and artistic images.
The set consists of a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 standard lens and two attachable lenses. Each of these lenses is attached to the front Nikon lens filter thread. As a result, the lens turns into either a 25mm wide-angle lens or a 125mm portrait lens. Adjustment of the softness and plasticity of the image is carried out by changing the aperture from f/1.8 to f/16 on the Nikon lens. The maximum softness at f/1.8 gradually turns into absolute sharpness after f/5.6. In addition to the lenses, the set includes 3 UV protective filters, one for each lens, and all the front and rear lens caps.
