As a Landscape Construction Crew Leader, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and team to complete high-quality landscape construction projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and have experience in the landscape construction industry. This role oversees crews of 3–4 team members and works closely with the Project Manager/Sales across multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Landscape Construction Foreman or similar leadership role in landscape construction
• Lead on-site landscape construction operations
• Operate hand tools and light power equipment with safety protocols
• Support and Coordinate with the Project Manager on materials handling and job progress
• Follow Project Manager direction to ensure quality work is above standard workmanship
• Drive crew to and from job sites
• Direct performance of a crew of 3–4 on landscape construction projects
• Oversee daily crew productivity to keep on target of completion date
• Track project progress using digital tools and documentation
• Inspect trucks, trailers, and tools for maintenance twice a day
• Read plans and manage and perform daily job site operations
• Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and power tools with safety protocols
• Strong layout execution skills of custom landscape designs including pavers, turf, planting, masonry/stucco patios, patios, walkways, and boulder settings
• Experience with irrigation, grading, site preparation and performance
• Proven leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site with daily clean up
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

• Experience: Construction or landscaping 5 years’ preferred experience
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Team Player: Takes direction well and works effectively with others and leads well
• Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Attitude: Reliable, hardworking, safety minded, cleanliness at job sites, good communication skills with customers, crews, and teams
