Looking for a buyer for a 1973 914 2.0. It's Alaska Blue Metallic with the "appearance package" and has original 2.0 Fuchs and chrome bumpers. It’s pretty original and in survivor condition. I bought it about 4 years ago from an elderly gentleman whose girlfriend was the original owner. Car was purchased in Fairfax,VA and then spent majority of its life in the Seattle area. I have original service records from 1973-85. Engine number matches the maintenance record log and has the original D jetronic fuel injection system. Assume it has the original transmission, suspension, exhaust. I had plans to fully restore the car given the lack of rust (hell hole is clean, longitudinals, floor pan, etc.). Unfortunately, I'm not mechanically inclined, so everything has had to be done as an expense. I have receipts for almost $11k over the last 3 years...major mechanical has been done (engine rebuild with sport cam shaft, pistons, PMB brakes, master cylinder, etc.). The car is in running condition, but not without flaws. Paint is not original in several areas and as pictured is in very distressed condition. Side and back glass appears original, original leather steering wheel is tires and rubber bits are aged...interior is pretty clean. No turn signal switch or wiper switch. Dash has minimal cracking and seats are in pretty good shape...small hole on the drivers seat. Targa top stows in the trunk, but trunk lid doesn’t lock when top is stowed. Also, there is no headliner on the top. Car is going up on Bringatrailer next week. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to learn more about it.
