Greetings - I'm looking for partners to share a (relatively) inexpensive training aircraft. I train on the west side, but plane could be located anywhere in the Phoenix metro. Partnership of 2 to 4 would be ideal in terms of balancing costs, complexity and availability. I'm a student just finishing his private certificate and going to pursue further training and time building in this plane. In my early 30's, working towards a career change. If you own a plane and are willing to sell fractional ownership, let me know. If you would like to pool resources for the purchase of a used aircraft on the open market, that also works.
Flexible with regards to make and model. Lead candidate is a two-seater with readily available replacement parts and not so niche to make it hard for a mechanic to work on. Four seater acceptable for the right price. Just want something with an affordable hourly operating cost. A Cessna 150 or 152 is the first thing that comes to mind but again I am open to creative solutions. An ideal aircraft would have a a fair amount of time until the next overhaul, an interior and exterior in fair to good shape, and for under $25-30k could be purchased, made ADS-B compliant, and have any other essential work completed with some room to run until the next major overhaul.
Give me a shout - I know there are many active and aspiring pilots in the valley and it would be great to help each other reach our goals. Cheers.
