Quicksilver Express has been delivering fast, reliable service for over 40 years. We operate a high-volume, time-sensitive logistics operation across the Phoenix metro area.

We are seeking an experienced Freight Dispatcher to take ownership of daily routing, driver coordination, and real-time problem solving. This is a fast-paced operations role that requires strong decision-making and prior dispatch experience.

⚡ About the Role:

This is not an entry-level or customer support position. You will be responsible for managing a fleet, adjusting routes in real time, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule.

• Dispatch and coordinate daily routes for a local fleet
• Build efficient routes and adjust based on real-time conditions
• Manage multiple drivers handling time-sensitive deliveries
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues quickly
• Coordinate with warehouse staff on freight movement and dock schedules
• Prioritize urgent shipments and maintain service levels
• Track shipments and maintain accurate system updates
• Ensure driver productivity and route efficiency

📋 Requirements (Must Have):

• Previous freight dispatch or logistics coordination experience
• Experience managing multiple drivers/routes simultaneously
• Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Clear communication with drivers and operations teams
• Familiarity with the Phoenix metro area
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:

• Experience freight dispatching local delivery or courier drivers
• Background in time-sensitive or same-day logistics
