Display cases were originally custom built to display and protect firearms, (rifles and pistols), but could easily be converted over to displaying anything from guitars, swords, knives, autographed baseball bats, autographed sports uniforms / jerseys, collectibles, and much more. (Guitars in pics are not for sale, but pictured for ideas on how to use the case). Each case could easily be reconfigured to display three full size guitars and many more other objects.
Exterior dimensions are: 58” inches long left to right, 42” inches tall top to bottom, and 8” inches deep.
Interior display area dimensions are: 52” inches long left to right, 36” inches tall top to bottom, and about 5.5” inches deep
Built to hang on the wall using locking French cleat system that interlocks wooden mounts for the strongest way of hanging display cases possible. These display cases are built extremely well and require this type of hanging system to support the weight.
Special UV blocking glass used in the display case to filter out ultraviolet (UV) rays and protect items inside from damage and degradation.
Designed and constructed using very heavy 3/4” thick wood for the entire rectangle shaped display box. Wood is stained a dark mahogany gloss color around the exterior of display box.
Antique gold painted frame is heavy duty, 3.5” inches wide and is 1.5” inches thick.
The case is designed to hang on the wall in a landscape position, with a large piano hinge at the top inside area of the frame that goes the entire length of the case. The front of the case hinges to swing completely open in an upward motion. The bottom of the case has a hidden skelton key locking mechanism with matching keys.
Each display case contains hidden lighting around the entire inside of the case. Electrical off/on switch is located on the bottom of the case. Each case has two cords/plugs for powering the lighting.
Each of the two display cases comes with a number of metal or wooden hangers that can be repositioned and used. Both cases will require some cleaning or replacement of the inside fabric.
