Reno is a 14 yrs, 15.1 hands gelding. Reno is super friendly, easy to catch, saddle, shoes, stands for mounting & loading in trailer. Doesn't bite, kick or buck.
He is an easy keeper. We feed Bermuda Hay twice daily, beet pulp pellet and a complete feed once daily.
Previous owners had purchased him for Barrels, he was familiar with the pattern when we acquired him. We have used him for trails, camping and introduced him to Ranch sorting through practice clinics. He was comfortable with cattle after a few sessions.
In arena: Reno is familiar with lunge line and round pen techniques, he is responsive leg cues, will side pass, walk, trot or canter. I have ridden him in snaffle and training shank bits. He does neck rein.
On Trails: Reno will walk out alone from home. We trail ride with a local group. He walks out at a good pace at any position in the line.
I would rank Reno 5 for energy level.
I have a couple short videos I could forward if interested.
