Job description:
A hands on Demolition Foreman is accountable for the overall supervision of an assigned project including but not limited to coordination meetings, project milestones, and quality assurance, profitability, and safety goals while developing team members assigned on site. Under the general supervision of the Operation Manager, the Foreman will partner with the Project Management Team to coordinate, schedule, organize and ensure timely, cost-effective and safe performance on all job activities. As a point of reference of both workers and supervisors, the foreman will be a key person for the completion of a project.
As a project leader for the field, the Foreman will occasionally use their knowledge and experience to:
Ensure work is performed in a quality fashion
Train/mentor team members (Haul out through Lead man)
Quality performance on project and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Great attitude and reliable

Good driving record
Experience as a foreman
Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints (or willing to learn)
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Problem-solving abilities
Supervise crews of multiple sizes (relevant to job)
Responsibilities:
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to customer managers, engineers etc.
Relay problems, conflicts, job status, and other relevant information to Project Manager
Verify all equipment and supplies delivered to the job are received as ordered and in good condition
All job site tool inventory
Inspect all work, making sure it is done to standard, and taking corrective action when necessary
Physical Demands:
The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position that will require night work at times. Days/Nights and hours of work have varying shifts depending on assigned job site requirements for a typical 40-hour work week. This position may require overtime and weekend work on occasion.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
