The amp is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition with flame grained oak front panel, oxblood cloth, black tolex and white piping. No rips, tears, or dings! Tubes recently updated (07/25) with (1) JJ GZ34 5AR4 Rectifier / (2) JJ EL84 / 6BQ5 Power / (4) JJ ECC83s / 12AX7 Preamp / (1) JJ ECC81 / 12AT7 Preamp.
This series has an unmistakable blend of classic American and English tones. They can deliver full bodied clean tones and natural over-drive all while letting you dial in the "Chime." The Maz 18 is great for getting classic breaking up tube tone at lower volumes.
Front Panel: Input Jacks: Input 1 (HI) is for normal use. Input 2 (LO) has 3db less gain. Use with humbuckerequipped guitars if you'd like cleaner sounds. Volume: Controls overall gain. Set over halfway for overdriven sounds. Set below halfway forcleaner sounds. Treble: Controls overall high frequency response. Middle: Controls overall mid frequency response. Bass: Controls overall low frequency response. Master: Controls overall amp volume and output tube compression. Cut: Controls overall tone/presence of amp. Turn clockwise for chime. Reverb: Turn clockwise to add reverb. Standby: Leave in off position for 1 minute when powering up the amp. Turn on for play. Place in off position for extended break periods. Power: Turns amp On or Off.
