Mesa stopped making these, and the rackmount 2100 variant is the most sought-after version. This is the real 2:100 — the twin 100-watt power blocks lifted straight from the Dual Rectifier® Solo Head and dropped into a 2U chassis. If the 2:90 is the polished studio guy, the 2:100 is the unhinged older brother that joined a touring metal band and never came home.
This thing is a massive, all-iron, high-voltage beast. It follows the exact power section of the Dual Rectifier, so you get that same explosive punch, low-end authority, and modern high-gain attack — just in a stereo format. Pair it with a Rectifier Recording Preamp and it becomes a fully authentic live Recto® rig that hits as hard as the real heads.
Two sets of inputs per channel let you choose between the standard power amp inputs or the dedicated Recto Preamp inputs (which bypass volume controls for the true Solo Head circuit). Add Mesa’s Smart Power™ link and it even auto-engages Modern mode when used with the Recto Pre.
