Overview
In my humble opinion, the 27FB may be the best floorplan in the Airstream lineup. It’s an ideal trailer for two people: a spacious bedroom with twin beds, a separate shower and bathroom, a well‑designed galley with a slide‑out pantry for those who truly enjoy cooking, a comfortable sofa for relaxing or entertaining, and a dinette with arguably the best view in the trailer. You likely already know the factory specs, so I’ll focus on what really matters—how this particular trailer has been cared for and improved.
We purchased this Flying Cloud 27FB Twin new in the summer of 2022, upgrading from our beloved 2011 Flying Cloud 25FB. It has been gently used, meticulously maintained, thoughtfully upgraded, and always stored under cover. At the end of its 3‑year factory warranty, our local dealer (We Are Airstream) gave it a clean bill of health. It is truly in near‑new condition and ready to travel.
You may be wondering why we’re selling. Simply put, while we appreciated the advantages of the twin‑bed layout (especially the storage), we realized we missed a queen bed. Life is short—we wanted what we wanted—so we purchased the same floorplan with a queen bed.

Something you should know about sales tax…especially for my fellow Arizonians….
Private‑party RV sales in Arizona are not subject to sales tax, which can represent a substantial savings compared to dealer purchases and should be factored into overall buyer value. Many states have similar “casual sale” provisions—worth checking where you live.
Location & Invitation
Cold where you are? It’s mid‑60s to low‑70s here in Arizona. Fly or drive down, pick up the trailer, and enjoy southern Arizona or Southern California while everyone else thaws out.
