Witherow Construction, a local grading company, is currently hiring and looking for skilled members to join our team.
Universal operators – Including Motor Graders, Excavators, Scrapers, Loaders, Gannons, Bulldozers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to Caterpillar/John Deere, Motor grader, loader, bulldozer, excavator, Gannon tractors
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
* Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
* Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 2-5 years experience
* Experience/Knowledge with Trimble and/or TopCon GPS and machine controls a plus
* Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Must have reliable transportation to and from job site (generally west side)
* MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENING
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Depending on Experience
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends
Heavy equipment: 2 year (Preferred)
Motorgrader operating: 5 years (2 years mandatory)
TopCon/Trimble GPS: 1 year (Preferred)

We do finish work (land development) of all types and have all new equipment with GPS (Trimble and Topcon). Competitive wages offered. Most of our work is located in the West Valley.
