Family and community focused local trucking company seeking a reliable and experienced Mid/High Side End Dump Driver to join our growing team. This is a crucial role in our organization as you will be the face of our company on the road. If you have a valid CDL Class A driver's license and a End Dump experience, we want to hear from you.
Duties
· Safely operate a manual transmission truck and combination End Dump
· Ensure that all cargo is properly secured before transportation
· Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
· Complete pre and post trip inspections daily
· Properly track and maintain accurate daily driver log, tickets and backup documentation as required
· Timely reporting of any issues or incidents
· Communicate with dispatch and follow directions regarding daily tasks and expectations
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Minimum 4 years CDL or equivalent
- History of clean driving record with no major infractions in last 5 years
- Medical D.O.T. card or able to pass physical to acquire
- Submit to pre-employment and random drug testing
- Strong knowledge of load securing techniques
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team player able to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as with others while participating in a positive work culture
- Strong work ethic
